I bought a Mac (loaded with Snow Leopard) couple of months back and I was disappointed to find that there was no remote desktop utility available to connect from Snow Leopard to Windows and visa-versa. On intense googling and after few expensive third party solutions, I was relieved to know that Microsoft and Apple offer the utility free of cost on their websites.
As written on Apple website about Remote Desktop Connection Client "....allows you to connect to a Windows-based computer and work with programs and files on that computer from your Macintosh computer. To connect to a Windows-based computer, you need network access and permissions to connect to the computer, and the computer must be running Terminal Services or Remote Desktop Services." So if you are looking to connect your Mac to a PC, just download and install this software and you are good to go.

Microsoft write following on their website " Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac 2.0.1 lets you connect from your Macintosh computer to a Windows-based computer or to multiple Windows-based computers at the same time. After you have connected, you can work with applications and files on the Windows-based computer." So if you are looking to connect your Windows to a Mac, just download and install this software and get ready for remote browsing.
